How do you get video on the Google 1 phone?
The g1 phone and I need to find out how to get the video to work or do other peoples G1's work with video and is mine just screwed up?|||AFAIK, the G1 will play H.264 or 3GP/3G2. I have the LG Voyager which also plays 3G2, and I've been watching video on it for months.
What have you tried to do and what were the results? For me it's a simple process - I find it hard to believe that it's much harder for the G1 (esp. since you have open access to different Apps while I'm stuck w/whatever Verizon deigns to put on its phones). If you have an SD card, then it should show up on your PC's "my computer" window when the phone is connected via USB. You should be able to simply drop the video files into the card by drag/dropping them from the HD into the correct folder on your card in "my computer".
Your best bet is to convert the files into h.264 - you can do that w/programs like "Quick Media Converter" or "eRightsoft Super".

Does anyone know when Verizon will have the Google Nexus phone for sale?
The Wall Street Journal said that Verizon would add the Nexus (the fastest Droid phone) to their product line this year. Does anyone have a date? Can I use Google Voice with my cell phone number?
I downloaded the Google Voice app for my blackberry, and now it looks like I can have people call the Google number and leave messages that will then go into Google Voice.
My question is: is there a way link up my cell phone number to google voice? IE, can people leave messages for me on my cell number that will then be transcribed and emailed to me using the Voice application?
I really don't want to start giving out a new number...too complicated.|||See the differences between a Google Number and a non-google number with Google Voicemail at http://www.google.com/support/voice/bin/鈥?/a> and watch videos at http://www.google.com/googlevoice/about.鈥?/a>
If you're using a Google number, you can still set up Google voicemail with any mobile forwarding phone.
To do this, click Settings at the top right of the page. On the Phones tab, click the Add Google voicemail to this phone link to get started. The mobile carrier for your forwarding phone will need to be one of Google's current supported wireless carriers http://www.google.com/support/voice/bin/鈥?/a>
