Does the new google phone require fingertip sensory (skin) to use the touch screen?

I have nails and found on the iphone the only way I can use it is to cut my nails short. I was wondering if the touch screen for the G1 was the same?|||The touchscreen sensitivity technology is basically the same in the G1 and the iPhone. If you want to keep your nails long and use a touch screen device I would look for one that usues a stylus by design, the human fingernail is a good substitute for the stylus. My old Palm Treo worked that way
