How to save phone contacts to phone instead of Google account?

Whenever I add a contact it automatically gets saved to Google. I cant see the number on my contacts list or retrieve it. I dont want my phone numbers saved to cyberspace for security reasons.|||if u r using nokia handsets.do one thing,,,take a back up in ovi a/c....select ur device %26amp; and sync it....
