How do I download the Facebook application onto my Google MyTouch phone?

I had a Blackberry and had the Facebook application on my phone. I was able to receive a message when someone commented on my status or requested me as a friend. Does anyone know how/where to get this application from in order to get in on my phone. I know that there is an application that exists but I don't know how to get it.|||go to the android market it should be in there
