has anyone tried the new
google nexus phone.
is that a touch screen..
how is it compared to iphone
do tmobile provides the google nexus phone.|||The Google Nexus One phone is officially only available for purchase online through Google, although there are other places that you can buy online (see www.googlecorner.com for the latest eBay auction listings for the Google Nexus One phone). Be careful if ordering through GoogleCorner or eBay, as the Nexus One phone has not been officially released in many countries and may not work with your mobile service provider. The new phones run with Google's Android mobile operating system and are all touch screen.|||The Nexus is available only from Google directly.
T-Mobile is providing service plans for the phone. The phone is unlocked at the full price (US$525), so you can use it with any GSM network (in the US, that's just AT%26amp;T). If you have a service plan from T-Mobile already, you can buy the Nexus at full price and use your current SIM card. If you don't have a plan, you can only get the phone with one plan offered by T-Mobile.
Yes, it has a touch screen. Multi-touch, in fact. All Android-based phones have touch screens.
The iPhone has more apps available, but that's because it's been on the market for nearty three years. There are a number of Android-based phones out now (T-Mobile G1 and myTouch, the Verizon Droid, the Nexus), and more arriving each month. I expect the number of Android apps to increase dramatically in the coming months. You will begin to see apps available for both platforms (many already are).
The Nexus has some features the iPhone doesn't. Take video. Has a higher-res camera. Plays more music formats.
